Fan Art ***
This section is to show any art I’ve made for existing properties. Some of these are some of my favorite pieces I’ve done. These were some of my best ideas honestly, and sometimes I hate that my fan art gets more love than my original works, but at the same time, a lot of these are pretty funny so I get it haha.

Street Fighter Fan Art
“the sneaker ninja”
Guy was my first “main” in Street Fighter Alpha 3. I’ve always been a fan of his design as well as his idle sprite, so I made this as a study to see how Capcom designed the sprite but I also decided to design him more in line with his in-game art than the actual sprite (which lightens his skin tone for some reason)

“the Raging Buffalo”
Street Fighter Alpha 3 is my favorite game of all-time and part of that reason is the artwork by Bengus. So I made this as a fun experiment/tribute where I drew Balrog in his SFA3-style portrait, but with his Street Fighter V default outfit. It really showed me how much Bengus influenced my personal style because drawing this was like second nature to me, despite never attempting to draw it before.

“Gender-swapped Ken”
I was doing a whole project where I made gender-swapped versions of the entire Street Fighter V cast. I was doing the whole cast in order of how they were first announced, but to be honest, I only ever started the project because I thought seeing a woman cosplay this Ken outfit would be cool. So once I got to Ken, I stopped the project. But I DO have gender-swapped versions of Ryu, Chun-Li, Nash, Bison, Cammy, Birdie & Necalli floating around on the internet somewhere.

“Girls Day Out”
Fun fact: this piece is actually a re-do of an old piece I made in 2012 for a DeviantArt contest called “Hot Short Shorts”. So I wanted to design some leisure outfits for the ladies of Street Fighter II. It was also a great chance for me to practice my lighting techniques.

“The Hobo Ken saga”
This was born from all the memes surrounding Ken’s appearance when the designs for Street Fighter 6 got initially leaked. The general consensus was that Ken was divorced now for whatever reason. While this ended up not being entirely true, he DID put some distance between himself and his family out of protection from people like JP. So thankfully, this short comic doesn’t feel TOO nonsensical. I also added Luke as he was trained by Guile, and added Jamie to imply that he provided Ken with the alcohol. I even added a pic of Yun and Yang to imply that Jamie inherited this bar from them. I’m very proud of this piece honestly.

Dragon Ball Fan Art
“Most Valuable Android”
The Tournament of Power arc of Dragon Ball Super was one of my favorites, but the biggest thing was seeing the return of one of my favorite characters of DBZ, Android 17. His role in this entire tournament was super entertaining, especially when he interrupted that one transformation. What I didn’t expect was him being the last man standing and helping Goku and Frieza to defend their universe from extinction. His cool factor went up immensely after that and it’s the reason he was on my main team in Dragon Ball FighterZ.

“Hakaishin Vegeta”
I was never the type to keep up with manga chapters or anything but when Vegeta achieved this transformation of Ultra Ego, it was EVERYWHERE. It started developing into an online theory that Ultra Instinct Goku would eventually become an Angel and Ultra Ego Vegeta would become a God of Destruction. Which led to me creating this image of Ultra Ego Vegeta preparing to fire a “Big Bang Hakai”, if you will.

“Fusion Boyz (Disc 1)”
Gotenks was always my favorite character in Dragon Ball Z and subsequently, I loved the friendship of Trunks and Goten. So I imagined them older and dropping a mixtape to premiere their NEW fusion using the Potara earrings as opposed to the Fusion Dance that they’ve since perfected at this point. This is Disc 1, focusing more on their separate lives with many references to the original series.
(C) 2021
“Fusion Boyz (Disc 2)”
The continuation of the project above, but this one focusing on the actual fusions. The first 8 “tracks” are all about Gotenks with plenty of references to moments within the actual series. But the last few are exclusively about this new Potara fusion. What’s his name? …Honestly, I couldn’t come up with one, hence, Track 10 haha.

Movie & TV Fan Art
“tgif”
Friday is absolutely one of my all-time favorite movies. Top 5 in my opinion. I love all the characters, how they interact and how the writing of the movie does a fantastic job of introducing all these characters without feeling too crowded or expository. Anyways, enough about the actual movie, this piece was about experimenting with different colors to use for shading as well as brush up on my sequential art techniques which I personally believe turning movies into comic scenes helps a lot in this regard as it’s up to you, the artist to choose which parts to leave in and take out. This piece was a panel of a bigger overall comic page but I wanted to focus more on my favorite panel here and arguably THE most well-known part of this movie.

“Simple Musicians”
One of my all-time favorite movies is Kung Fu Hustle, and the two characters who stood out above all else, were The Harpists. Seeing them use that harp as an actual weapon was so dope to see, especially because the music attached to the fight was super dope due to the use of said instrument. I wanted to make some art to commemorate one of my favorite scenes in the whole movie.

“bruh-therly love: power levels”
Pretty much that image I’m known for. I even have coworkers currently, who get absolutely flabbergasted when they realized that I’m the guy behind this. Funny part is, it was really just a spur of the moment picture based off of another picture I saw that had Huey and Riley in the Turtle School outfits. I thought Riley fit more as Vegeta so I did that. The dialogue, funnily enough, was a last minute addition. I just added it because the thought of that joke popping into my head, was too funny. It even led to a little easter egg within the image itself. After all, Riley just answered Huey’s question honestly.

“Bruh-therly love II: Wakanda Forever”
This was a follow-up to one of my most viral images. I wanted to lean into my love for the Boondocks by adding a few references directly from the show in the dialogue. I actually had the dialogue exchange in mind from the beginning this time around.

“Wakanda Forever”
Made this after watching Black Panther for the first time. Was a big fan of the dynamic between these two plus it gave me a way to practice likenesses.

“the true insane clown posse”
This piece was actually inspired by the song, “Clown Dream” from Pee Wee’s Big Adventure. I wanted to do something based off that song when I heard it and decided to make a group picture of villainous clowns. (This was made before I discovered Terrifier). So I added as many killer clowns that I could think of. I’m very proud of the idea of adding Sideshow Bob since I wanted Krusty the Clown but I realized Krusty isn’t a killer, just an asshole haha. And the name of the image was made purely as rage bait for those Insane Clown Posse fans so I could get some eyes on this pic. Unfortunately, it never worked. Or if it did, it never got back to me, which defeats the purpose haha.

“the looney prince of bel-air”
My favorite TV series of all-time is Fresh Prince of Bel-Air. My favorite cartoon character of all-time is Bugs Bunny. I wanted to do this crossover for years but I couldn’t think of exactly how to do it. So I asked people what THEY thought was the most known scene in Fresh Prince. Landed on the infamous “Jump On It” performance. But then I remembered, Carlton was in the scene. But then I ALSO remembered that Will himself made a joke in the show, “you remember how we always said Daffy Duck must have a little brother somewhere? Meet my cousin, Carlton!”

“rowdyruff n’ stuff”
This piece was a consequence of my Saturday Morning Remix collection. These were my original redesigns for the Rowdyruff Boys before I went the more “superhero” look. This is essentially their version of a mixtape cover. I really like the idea of fake mixtapes haha. Also, you may notice some slight silhouettes all the way in the back of their fathers: Mojo Jojo and Him. ALSO also, the title is 100% a reference to a Lady of Rage song.

“inspector gadget”
I was warming up one day and asked my followers who I should draw. Someone suggested Inspector Gadget. It came out MUCH better that I ever intended so I figured I’d share.

“these hands: rated e for everyone”
This piece was for a My Hero Academia contest hosted by @NicqueMarina. I got second place. It REALLY hurt to get second place because even Nicque herself told me she liked mine better and was genuinely surprised when the other one got more likes. But she was fair and whichever got more like won. I couldn’t be mad at that, I lost fair and square… I guess.

“brothers in scars”
This piece was inspired by a joke I thought about. I’m a huge fan of Avatar the Last Airbender and I was just starting to watch My Hero Academia. I noticed that not only did Todoroki have his scar on the same side as Zuko, but that he also got it from a parent. I was surprised that no one else had made this connection before but I’m glad I got to make the joke. Also, I made sure to give Zuko some green tea to drink (as an homage to Iroh) and I gave Todoroki that specific drink simply because of the red & white straw and how it matched his hair haha.

“nightmares in wonderland”
This piece was from my time with Inbeon Studios. They were making an artbook with a horror theme of Alice in Wonderland. I wanted to lean into the old school look of classic horror movie posters. Plus, I have an affinity for drawing smiles emerging from the dark so I couldn’t wait to do a monstrous version of the Cheshire Cat.
(C) 2018
“nightmares in wonderland ii”
Again, from my time with Inbeon Studios. The first artbook was a huge hit so they made a sequel and guess who got to make another piece for it? While I wasn’t as excited to do this piece, I LOVE how I did the lighting here so I felt it necessary to share.

Gaming Fan Art
“Goomba’s Revenge”
The idea behind this is that this is the disgruntled brother of that very first Goomba from World 1-1 in Super Mario Bros.
(c) 2017
“POV: you’re a ghost”
I originally drew this in my physical sketchbook and decided to take it digital and expound on the idea. Then, when coloring, I decided that maybe the ghosts turn blue out of fear, so I embodied some tried and true anime tropes.

“The Candyman can!”
I’m a really big fan of the Lethal League games! I was having a bit of an obsession back in 2018 which led to this piece of art due to hearing this guy in my literal dreams haha. Plus, I loved the idea of drawing the ball mid-transformation.
(c) 2018
“2 Cups, 1 Contract”
I also became a very fast fan of Cuphead, despite not owning an Xbox at the time (when the game was still exclusive to Xbox). I was looking up playthroughs and let’s plays and couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. The amount of love and care that these developers put in to achieve that REAL feel of the rubber hose era of cartoon, was palpable. I just wanted to do a …I guess, “Kimbo-esque” picture of the two main guys, Mugman and Cuphead.
(c) 2017
“Baldi’s Basics”
This is another one of those indie titles that made its way around on YouTube by different “Let’s Players” who did their own playthroughs of the game. The game had a VERY unconventional art style which immediately inspired me to make an attempt to adapt all the characters into a somewhat cohesive art style. Like for instance, the “janitor” character, is literally just the broom in-game, and the guy in the back with the hoodie? Just a sock with googly eyes in-game. Like I said, an unconventional art style haha.

“All Hail the queen”
I’m a big fan of the Legend of Zelda series and had recently gotten into Hyrule Warriors at the time. In that game, exists a character named Volga who is some kind of Dragon Knight. However, it’s also clear that he’s essentially a human version of the Ocarina of Time boss, Volvagia (who was an entire dragon in that game). Therefore, I was inspired to do human versions of the other bosses, but I ended up putting ALL my effort into Queen Gohma alone so I decided to leave it as a standalone piece. Perhaps I’ll go back one day and make it an entire collection of pieces.

“Five nights…”
Who needs “seven days…” when you only need five nights to get the job done? This was a random piece that I started in Halloween of 2021 and didn’t go back to it until years later. I wanted to practice group picture, creepy lighting and it also gave me a chance to practice some cartoon animal rendering, which I don’t do too often. I’m not even that big of a fan of the indie game, “Five Nights at Freddy’s” but I’m incredibly aware of its impact on the culture. Plus, I’m pretty sure I had just watched the live-action movie right before going back to finish this. I really do find inspiration in the weirdest places haha.

“seventh heaven”
So weirdly enough, I was one of those guys who simply had a crush on Tifa Lockhart despite never playing Final Fantasy at the time. So I wanted to try to do a “thirst trap” illustration. Honestly, this was probably a stepping stone to me dipping my toe into some NSFW artwork, which you can find in another section on this site. Also, yes, the rug is made of Chocobo feathers because that’s all I knew of FF7 at the time: Cloud Strife, Tifa Lockhart and Chocobos. That’s it.
